How to Use Copaiba Essential Oil
Most people have never heard of it, but Copaiba is a powerful essential oil that has been used in South America for hundreds of years. It is most commonly used to aid in digestion and support the body’s natural response to injury or irritation. It also supports your body’s respiratory and lymphatic systems. There are many ways you can use it to support wellness!
Apply directly to skin – Like I stated above, this oil is just really good for your body. Applying a few drops to your skin every day will give yo a huge wellness boost.
Discomfort Cream – Blend Copaiba with coconut oil and rub onto skin. This will support the body’s natural response to injury or irritation, and provide relief from discomfort.
Muscle Soother – Rub 1-3 drops of Copaiba onto affected area, and cover with a hot damp towel. Cover the moist towel with a dry towel for 10-30 minutes. If you don’t enjoy the feeling of the oil penetrating the skin, you can also apply a carrier oil such as coconut, olive, almond, grapeseed, or jojoba oil.
Beach Cream – Before and/or after you spend a long day of sitting in the sun, combine a tablespoon of coconut oil with a few drops of Copaiba and apply liberally. For even better results, add a couple drops of Lavender and Carrot Seed Oil.
Magnifier – One of the coolest parts about Copaiba is that when you use it on top of any other essential oil, it will magnify the properties of that oil. This allows you to use less of another more expensive oil, or get larger benefits from another oil you are using.
