How to Use Thieves Essential Oil

Thieves is a blend of Clove, Rosemary, Lemon, Cinnamon, and Eucalyptus oil.

Each of the oils in this blend can be used individually to supports wellness.

Clove – supports immune system, and digestive system

Rosemary – supports respiratory system, and digestive system

Lemon – supports immune system, and digestive system

Cinnamon – supports cardiovascular system, and digestive system

Eucalyptus – supports immune system, and respiratory system

But when you put all of these essential oils together into one blend, you end up with an incredibly effective wellness tool. This blend is most commonly used to support your immune system, especially during winter months, but it’s so beneficial that you will probably want to apply it every single day!

It can also be used to clean your house. We have replaced all of our home cleaners with Thieves, and I love knowing that my house is squeaky clean but also toxin-free! Young Living’s oil blend actually became so popular that they created an entire line of products containing Thieves including household cleaner, portable spray for purses, bar soap, foaming hand soap, hand purifier, mouthwash, adult toothpaste, dental floss, hand wipes, and hard lozenges.

But the best part about this oil is the legend that inspired it….

Why I Chose Young Living over Every Other Essential Oil Brand

There are a lot of different essential oil brands on the market today. For a while I was confused about which company to pick, or if it even mattered which one I picked. It wasn’t until I did a few months of research that I decided that Young Living is the only essential oil brand I will ever use on myself and on my family. But before go into detail about why I love Young Living, I want to talk about why all of the other essential oil brands didn’t make the cut.

Unfortunately, almost all essential oils being sold today are full of synthetic chemicals and have many of their key ingredients removed. Only one percent of essential oils are completely pure, and almost all of that one percent is being sold by Young Living.

Most people are not aware that their oils are adulterated because there are no strict laws dictating what companies are allowed to put on their labels. For example, when you pick up a bottle at the store and the label says “pure lavender oil” you would naturally assume that the bottle contains ONLY lavender oil….right??

Questions about Ordering Essential Oils

Using essential oils has completely changed my life, and I’m so excited about it that I want to share with everyone! It’s been a helpful tool for me while dealing with health challenges, but it has also helped me have more energy, clear up my skin problems, fall asleep easier, and find some relief from stress and emotional issues. I was also able to replace many of my home cleaning and personal care products with safe, natural alternatives. We did a lot of research before choosing which essential oils to buy specifically, and if you want to know why we ended up with Young Living read this article.

How to Feel Polished and Put Together Without Makeup

Recently I gave up makeup for a week.

But, this was literally just because I ran out of foundation and didn’t have time to run to the store. During this accidental experiment, I realized that even if I don’t give up wearing makeup completely, I should probably be wearing it less often. Because wow did my skin improve after I gave it a chance to breathe.

This has become my little routine on days when I don’t have anything special going on, but I still want to look polished and put together. It allows me to use less synthetic products, while still feeling feminine and confident!

History of Essential Oils

Because I had only heard of essential oils within the past couple years, I assumed that they were a brand new discovery. But it turns out that people have been using them since 4500 B.C. You can find evidence of their use throughout history all over the globe – in China, India, Europe, and even America!

Everything a Beginner Needs to Know about Essential Oils

A few years ago I had a health crisis, and ever since I have been on the hunt for any natural ways to support wellness. Finding essential oils completely changed my life, and now I want to share them with every person I meet!
There are three reasons I use essential oils:
1. They support physical wellness
I apply essential oils to my skin every single day. When you use an essential oil topically, your body absorbs it and uses it to support different body systems. You can use oils to support your immune system, digestive system, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, endocrine system, nervous system, lymphatic system, musculoskeletal system, skin…I could go on but you get the point. Basically any part of your body can benefit from the use of essential oils.
2. They support emotional wellness
I am constantly using essential oils aromatically. When you inhale an essential oil, the molecules travel up your nose directly to your limbic system, the part of your brain that controls memories and emotions. Because of this, I have found them to be a huge game changer when it comes to dealing with difficult emotions like stress or the blues.
3. They are a natural alternative
I have been able to replace almost all of the toxic chemicals in my home by using essential oils as a natural alternative. By combining natural ingredients with essential oils I have been able to replace all of my toxic home cleaners, as well as my toxic personal care products like perfume, lotion, deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, and more!
Just in case you haven’t heard of them…….
