howtousethieves

Thieves is a blend of Clove, Rosemary, Lemon, Cinnamon, and Eucalyptus oil.

Each of the oils in this blend can be used individually to supports wellness.

Clove – supports immune system, and digestive system

Rosemary – supports respiratory system, and digestive system

Lemon – supports immune system, and digestive system

Cinnamon – supports cardiovascular system, and digestive system

Eucalyptus – supports immune system, and respiratory system

But when you put all of these essential oils together into one blend, you end up with an incredibly effective wellness tool. This blend is most commonly used to support your immune system, especially during winter months, but it’s so beneficial that you will probably want to apply it every single day!

It can also be used to clean your house. We have replaced all of our home cleaners with Thieves, and I love knowing that my house is squeaky clean but also toxin-free! Young Living’s oil blend actually became so popular that they created an entire line of products containing Thieves including household cleaner, portable spray for purses, bar soap, foaming hand soap, hand purifier, mouthwash, adult toothpaste, dental floss, hand wipes, and hard lozenges.

But the best part about this oil is the legend that inspired it….

Young Living’s one-of-a-kind Thieves blend was crafted in the spirit of this legendary combination. If you want to know the massive amount of things you can do with just a bottle of Thieves oil, this list is for you!

Support Immune System – Either apply directly to skin and/or diffuse to support your immune system

Thieves Tea – Using Thieves Vitality oil, you can make a spicy tea that supports your immune system

Fresh Air – We put this oil blend in our diffuser almost every day to help clean the air (P.S. it smells like Christmas)

Literally Anything You Need to Clean – Most people use this oil as a completely natural and safe alternative for cleaning. You can use it on pretty much anything, but here are a few examples to get you started: kitchen and bathroom surfaces, public bathroom seats, door handles, toddler toys, wiping down cutting boards, washing fruits and vegetables, freshening gym bags or sports equipment, and airplane armrests and serving trays. You can either pour a few drops of oil directly onto objects, or create a spray. To make a spray, combine water and 10-15 drops of Thieves oil in a small spray bottle. Shake well before using!

Portable Hand Purifier – Pour a drop or two onto your hands and rub them together to keep them clean
Chemical Free Hand Soap – In a glass or stainless steel soap dispenser combine 2-3 Tablespoons Bronners Castile Soap, 4-6 drops of Thieves oil, and water.

Clean clothes – Add a few drops to your washing machine before starting a load.

Dryer Sheet – Add 4-6 drops of Thieves to a wet washcloth and toss in dryer with laundry.

Clean Floors – Add a few drops to your mop water or swiffer pad.

Clean dishes – Put a few drops of Thieves into your dishwater or dishwasher to thoroughly clean dishes and eliminate odor.

Sticky Messes – A drop of thieves oil can help remove stubborn adhesives like glue, and chewing gum, and adhesive labels from jars (and it doesn’t hurt that it helps clean surfaces at the same time)
