How to Use Stress Away Essential Oil

Stress Away is an essential oil blend containing Lime, Copaiba,
Cedarwood, Ocotea, Lavender, and Vanilla

If I listed every single benefit these oils provided individually, this post would be too long to read! Here are just two benefits of each essential oil found in this blend!

Lime – supports digestive system, and urinary system

Copaiba – supports lymphatic sysem, and the body’s natural response to injury and irritation

Cedarwood – supports lymphatic system, and urinary system

Ocotea – supports circulatory system and digestive system

Lavender – supports nervous system and skin wellness

Vanilla – makes blend smell sweet!

All of these oils come together to make one of my favorite blends, Stress Away. On top of all of the other benefits I just listed, this oil’s main purpose is to combat normal stresses that creep into every day life. I have a lot of experience when it comes to dealing with strong emotions, so whenever I find a tool that offers some relief, I want to share it with everyone I meet! Below I’ve listed some of the ways I’ve incorporated this essential oil into my everyday life!

Relieve Stress

The most effective way to use this oil is aromatically. When you inhale an essential oil, the molecules of the oil travel directly up your nose to your limbic system, the part of the brain that holds memories and emotions. So every time you smell this oil, it naturally induces relaxation and reduces occasional nervous tension. Inhale directly from the bottle or diffuse in your home. This is also one of my favorite scents to put in a diffuser necklace so that I can keep smelling it while on the go!

Natural Perfume

I can’t wear perfume because I’m sensitive to all of the harsh chemical ingredients. I was so bummed about it, until I found Young Living Essential Oils. Stress Away quickly became my favorite scent to wear as a perfume, but there are so many wonderful smelling essential oils that practically any of them can be used as a natural alternative to perfume. It’s amazing because it doesn’t have any harmful side effects, but also because it promotes wellness and supports various body systems. Just rub a few drops directly on your skin, and the scent will last for a few hours!

Calm your nerves with aromatic use of essential oils, while using epsom salts to detox your body at the same time! I try to do this every day, or at least a couple times a week, and it makes a huge difference in how calm and relaxed I feel.

Vanilla Lime Sugar Scrub or Body Butter

I do this to unwind, and take care of my skin at the same time!

Sugar Scrub: Combine 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup melted coconut oil (or olive oil), and 10-15 drops of Stress Away oil in a glass jar. Add more or less oil depending on your scent preference. Scrub down skin with this mixture right before shaving for silky smooth legs and a calmer mood. Just be careful getting out, the oil might make your tub slippery!

Body Butter: Whip 1 cup of coconut oil with an electric mixer until fluffy. 5-20 drops of Stress Away Essential Oil and mix well. I also make this recipe pretty often with just Lime Essential Oil
